Hello Readers, in this post I will tell you how to disable comments on your Blogger blog static pages. By static pages I mean the pages which does not show your posts like privacy policy, contact us, disclaimer etc. We have been sharing useful articles for SEO and blogging tips and this post focuses on the same category. User Comments are always good and appreciated but sometimes you might not want them to comment on some pages like contact us page or privacy policy page. The post features a tutorial about the same.User comments show the popularity of your blog. Higher counts of comments on your blog indicate that your content has a wider reach. But it is recommended to keep the commenting limited to the articles page because you don't want anyone to comment with their spam links on your personal pages. Now we shall look at the steps you need to follow to disable the comments on your static pages. 
Disable comments from Blogger Static Pages
- First of all Login in to your blogger Account and navigate to Dashboard.
- Click on the pages tab from the left Side bar.
- It will show you the list of the pages on your blog like this:
- Click on the Edit link at the bottom of the page, as highlighted in the above screen shot.
- Now it will open the Static page, click on the options link from the right sidebar.
- It will show some options like this:
- Click on don't allow users to comment on this page.
- You have 2 options, you can show the existing comments on these pages or you can remove all the existing and disable the future comments.
- Choose the one that suits you, I recommend you to choose remove the existing comments as well.
- Click on Update on the top of the Page.
- Click on preview or View Blog and watch this tutorial in action.
